At Wingham & District Hospital on Saturday, September 21, 2013, Mrs. Jean Horton of R. R. # 1, Clifford, age 79 years. The former Jean Bain, beloved wife of Ken Horton. Dear mother of Wayne and Carol Horton of Wingham, Brad Horton and Pauline Terwoord of Wingham and Greg Horton of Vancouver. Loving grandmother of Ashley and Jeremy Schnurr of Wingham, Byron Horton of Toronto, Dustin and Becky Horton and Brittany and Jake Henderson all of Wingham. Great-grandmother of Cohen Schnurr. Sister of Jim Bain. Sister-in-law of Phyllis Bain, Marjorie Harkness, Joyce and Don Schatte, Eleanor and Ron Campbell, Janet and Bill Dallimore, Donna Horton and Sharon and Ron Douglas. Predeceased by her parents William and Eva (Swanson) Bain, parents-in-law Ed and Alice Horton, her brother William Bain, brothers-in-law Walter Horton and Cecil Horton and sisters-in-law Florence Stapleton and Dorothy Bain. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Monday, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. A private family service will be held at McIntosh Cemetery. Reverend Ralph R. J. Schmidt officiating.
