Obituary of Roy Edward Bennett

At Wingham & District Hospital on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, Mr. Roy Bennett of Wingham, age 90 years. Loving husband of Mary Bennett. Dear father of Joan and Bill Dobbie of Arva, Ruth and Bruce Steedman of McKerrow and David and Karen Bennett of Waterloo. Grandfather of eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also survived by Mary's family, Heather, John and Susan, Debbie and Randy, Scott, Kim and Archie, George and Sherri, Jennifer and Rob, and their families. Brother of Clifford "Pete" Bennett, Mable Templeman, Glen and Kathy Bennett, Raymond and Joyce Bennett, Linetta "Dolly" and Ron Somers, Carman and Cynthia Bennett, and Iona and Allen Walker. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Haines) Bennett and his sister-in-law Agnes Bennett. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, from 7:00-9:00 pm. Masonic service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 6:45 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11:00 am. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. In lieu of flowers donations to Wingham and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
