Very sad to hear about Nic! He was one of the most committed Lanesville Lords, when we played slo-pitch together! He would show up right at game time, straight from milking cows, at the time, just trying to fit everything in because he said he would never break his word! If he said he’d be there, nothing would stop him! So dependable!
It’s been quite few years since I’ve talked to him but he was always so proud of his family! Our condolences to everyone!

I was saddened to hear about Nic's passing He was a very good friend. I have known Nic for about 50 Years he was in my grade 9 class at the local High school. He was a good student and played sports and was always very fir. I got to know Nic better when I worked with John in the farm shop. Nic was an unforgettable person always very welcoming with a smile on his face, he had a wonderful sense of humour, everybody liked Nic. He always had a positive out look, if the weather was bad or the seeding was not going well he pointed out that other people in the world had greater problems than he did. Nic could figure out numbers faster than I could do it on the calculator actually he was incredable. I have had coffee with Nic and his brothers for the last 15 years or so. We have had many good time and lots of laughs .over the years I will miss those good times. Nic was a guru on sports, he seemed to know what was going on with all the teams in different sports he knew the good the bad and the ugly.. Oh how I will miss my friend, R.I.P.Nic. Tim Willis

My sympathy to John, Marius and the entire Beyersbergen family. Nic was one of my favourite customer’s at the Bank. I enjoyed our many coffees around the kitchen table and his endless stories. He was so proud of the farm but even more proud of his family. Rest easy Nic.
