Obituary of Bob Thompson

At Wingham & District Hospital on Sunday, December 8^th, 2024, Robert “Bob” Thompson of Wingham passed away at the age of 82.

Devoted Dad of Joe Thompson of Burlington and Rob & Marcia Thompson of Elmira and loving Grandad of Samantha and Cole. Bob will be missed dearly by his partner Janette Martin and her children; Stacey, Jody and Kelly and their families.  He was the cherished brother of Bill & Shirley Thompson, Sharon Stackhouse and brother-in-law of Dorothy Thompson. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families. He is predeceased by his parents John & Dorothy (Garniss) Thompson, brothers Jim, Donnie and John (Margaret) Thompson, sister Kathleen (Scott) McLennan.

Funeral service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Saturday, December 14^th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Wingham Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
