Our sincerest condolences from the Buchanan family. Uncle Bob is a great man who is loved by everyone. I have fond memories of being a young boy and going to their farm every year. I remember looking forward to seeing Aunt Helen and Uncle Bob. They were always my favorites. Murray taught me how to use a pellet gun and Uncle Bob taught me how to drive a tractor and milk cows. He never got upset with me and he always included me in everything even though I was just a dumb kid that didn’t know what I was doing. We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Dear Murray and Shirley and all the family. Bob was a wonderful example of quiet dignity, a strong work ethic and encouragement. I first met him back in the 80’s as a trainee in agricultural lending at the TD bank. There he was regarded with much respect. 30 years later he offered regular encouragement at St. Andrew’s church as I ministered there. We are all better people for having known him.
