Obituary of Jean Hilbert

At her home on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, Jean Lenoire Hilbert of Wingham, passed away at the age of 92.

Wife of the late William Hilbert who predeceased her in 2013. Mother of Leslie Hilbert of Ilderton, Peter and Sophia Hilbert of British Columbia and the late Bill Hilbert who predeceased her in 2004.

She is predeceased by her father James Roy Adair, mother Laura Haase Baker and brother Leslie Adair.

Jean was a loving mother, encouraging independence in her children. She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion and kindness, especially to her eldest son, Leslie.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham.
