Obituary of Mike Crimmings

At Braemar Nursing Home on Saturday, March 30th, 2024, Mike Crimmings of Wingham passed away at the age of 76. 

Father of Conan & Jill Crimmings and Tagan & Lisa Crimmings. Grandfather of Melissa & Will, Derek & Brooke, Cade and Ava and great-grandfather of Zach, Madeline and Sadie. Mike will be missed by his siblings; Sherri & Tom, Bonnie & Doug, Janine & Phil, and by his many friends at Wescast. Predeceased by his wife Brenda (Hart) Crimmings, son Kasen Crimmings, and parents Thomas & Maida Crimmings. 

Mike spent three tours in Vietnam with the MACV-SOG teams and wore the green beret proudly. Later he worked as a police officer in Preston, Ontario and then at Wescast Industries in Wingham, as a Millwright where he also served as the Union President up until his retirement. 

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April 4th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment will take place at Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
