Obituary of Douglas Lapp
At Wingham & District Hospital on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, Douglas Howard Lapp of Wingham passed away at the age of 82.
Husband of Marilynn Gail (Ritchie) Lapp. Dad of Murray Douglas Lapp and Kenneth Alexander Lapp. He will be missed by his granddaughter Danika Anne Lapp and her mother Lisa Lapp. Brother and brother-in-law of Betty Ann & Winston Martin, Mary Joan & David Edwards, Doug Jeffray & Jeannette King and Margaret Ritchie. Doug will be remembered by his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Willis & Jessie (Orr) Lapp, parents-in-law David & Ena (Gamble) Ritchie, sister Olive Jeffray and brother-in-law Mac Ritchie and his wife Marilyn.
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Doug’s 83rd birthday, Thursday, March 21st, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22nd, in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m.
