Obituary of Mary Campbell

At Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, February 16, 2024, Mary Campbell of Wingham passed away at the age of 89.

Beloved wife of the late Robert Campbell who predeceased her in 2013. Loving mom of John & Jane Campbell of Saskatoon and Anne Campbell of St. Jacobs. Grandma of Laura Campbell & fiancé Tom Guiot of Calgary, and Tim Campbell of Burnaby. Sister-in-law of Colleen MacMillan, and Shirley Campbell. Mary will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Ross & Christine (MacKenzie) MacMillan, brother Hugh MacMillan, brothers-in-law Ron Campbell and his wife Shirley, Don Campbell and sister-in-law Alice Nelson and her husband Duaine.

Mary’s favorite activity was loving and serving others in her home and church.  She loved children and developed special relationships with the Elston and Irwin families who spent many hours in her home.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday, February 22 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Friday, February 23 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery in the spring.
