Obituary of Judy Cook
At Clinton Public Hospital on Friday, January 12, 2024, Judy Cook of Belgrave passed away at the age of 64 with her family by her side after a long battle with COPD.
Devoted wife of Greg Cook of Belgrave. Proud and loving mom of Tonya (Josh) Hummel of Seaforth and loving step-mom of Jackie Cook of Toronto, Carla Pawitch of Vanastra (Mike Pawitch of Blyth), and Marie Cook (Cory) of Goderich. She was a very proud grandma of eight grandchildren; Tristin, Keyonia, Kelden, Kaylyn, Ameera, Nyla, Khloe and Mylee and great-grandson Briar. Sister and sister-in-law Rose (Joe) Feeney of Egmondville, Joan Mason of Stratford, Ron Mason of Vanastra, Deb Hopper (Jim) of Wingham, Judy (Randy) McLean of Goderich, and Eric (Tracy) Cook of Wingham.
Predeceased by her parents Albert & Pearl (Culbert) Mason, sisters Doreen (Bessy) Hamilton and Faye Hamilton, brother John Mason, grandson Travis Powers, and parents-in-law Eldon & Lorraine Cook.
Judy was a known by many for her beautiful soul, her kindness, and her funny and split personality (Unice) which added a special charm to every interaction. She found immense joy in spending time with her family and friends, creating many wonderful memories. Her passion for playing broomball and baseball was a testament to her zest for life.
A Celebration of Judy’s life will be held at the Belgrave Community Centre on Friday, January 19th, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Final resting place, Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Clinton Public Hospital would be appreciated.
