Obituary of John Buchanan

At Braemar Nursing Home on Monday, January 16, 2023, John “Jack” Buchanan of Wingham at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of the late Connie (Elliott) Buchanan who predeceased him in 2010.

Loving dad of Karen Buchanan of Teeswater and David Buchanan of Edmonton.

Cherished grandpa of Candice & Ryan Higgins, Bryan Miller & Stephanie Brown, Kaitlyn & Derek Robinson, Kyle & Jasmine Andricopoulos and Jadyn and Holton Buchanan and great-grandpa of Liam, Austin, Nolan, Preston, Sawyer, Ellaina and Emillia. Dear brother of Wayne & Sue Buchanan.

John will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and friends.

Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Claire Buchanan and many siblings.

A Celebration of Jack’s life will be held at the Wingham Legion on Saturday, January 28th, 2023 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flower, memorial donations to Pet Rescue, Lucknow would be appreciated.
