Obituary of Sheldon McKee
It is with broken hearts that the family of Sheldon McKee announce his passing at Victoria Hospital in London on Monday, August 22nd, 2022, at the age of 37. He passed away surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous battle with injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
Devoted husband of Jenna McKee. Proud Dad of Ciana and Adrianna. Beloved son of Wayne & Corrie McKee. Cherished brother of Brandy & Brendan Bailey, Terri McKee and Dylan McKee. Dear son-in-law of Susan Francis & Blair Leibold and brother-in-law of Brittany & Kent Readman. Beloved uncle of Bridget, Harlow, Holden, Phoenix, Paisley and Crue. Sheldon will be missed by his large extended family, the Bandits and his MC family, as well as the many clients he met while running his tattoo shop, McKee Tattoo and Artwork in Wingham. Predeceased by one baby in Heaven, sister Sydney McKee and his grandparents George & Laura McKee and Harry & Muriel Montgomery.
Sheldon’s family would like to thank the staff at the Critical Care Trauma Unit and a very special thank-you to Dr. Neil Perry, RN Stacey and social worker Bev Lewis for all the kindness and compassion you’ve shown Sheldon and his family over the last two months.
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Monday, August 29th, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-9:00 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Sheldon’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 30th, 2022 at the Wingham Knights of Columbus Centre at 1:00 p.m. with interment at Wingham Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to an education fund for his daughters would be appreciated, please make cheques payable to Jenna McKee.
