Obituary of Maxine Robinson

At Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, August 20, 2022, Maxine Robinson of Wingham passed away peacefully with her family at her side, at the age of 80.

Deeply loved wife of Bill Robinson of Wingham. Dearly loved mom of Steve & Vicki Morrison of Wingham and Jamie & Susan Robinson of Belgrave. Devoted grandma of Corey McKee, Taylor Morrison & Jordan Crawford, Hayden Robinson & friend Kristen Dillon and Maya Robinson. Special great-grandma of Wrenley Crawford. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Martina Machan, Joan & Bob Barwick, Florence Machan, Carman & Sandra Machan, Gail & John Currie, Dale & Ruth Machan, Gord & Jane Machan, Anne & Jack Vincent, Jim Alton, Pat & Ken Mathers, Lawrence Machan, Jim Robinson, Joyce Coupland, Tom & Aantje Robinson, Kaye & Ken MacKenzie and Joyce Dennis. Maxine will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and large extended family.

Predeceased by her parents Lawrence & Violet Machan, first husband Lynn Morrison, daughter Sandra Morrison, siblings Lloyd (Marion) Joe, Doug, Barrie and Dianne Machan, Shirley Wheeler (George) and Darlene Becker (Wayne), parents-in-law Charlie & Margaret Robinson, brother-in-law Stewart Coupland and sister-in-law Barb Robinson.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, August 24^th, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Wingham United Church on Thursday, August 25^th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Wingham Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
