Obituary of Kevin Townsend

At Jessica’s House Residential Hospice in Exeter, on Thursday, May 26^th, 2022, Kevin Townsend formerly of Wroxeter, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 65.

Beloved husband of Marg Townsend for 38 years. Devoted dad of Emily and Connor Townsend. Cherished son of Lloyd Townsend and the late Mary Townsend (2015). Dear brother of Brenda & Ross Werth and Debbie & Kim Cowan and brother-in-law of Richard Lloyd and Beth & Randy Paterson. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday, May 29^th, 2022 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, May 30^th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Wroxeter Cemetery. A come and go Celebration of Life for Kevin’s Belleville family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 5^th, 2022 at Eastminster United Church in the Bentley Auditorium (432 Bridge St E, Belleville, ON), from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
