Obituary of Evelyn Louise Stephens

At Wingham & District Hospital on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022, Evelyn Stephens of Wingham, passed away peacefully at the age of 86.

Devoted mom of Tracy & Barb Cassivi of Kitchener. Loving grandmother of Kayla Cassivi of Dundas, Karly Descoteaux of Toronto and Kelsy & Conor Gfroerer of Waterloo. Great-grandmother of Emelia Rae Lynn and Archie Robert Gfroerer.  Dear sister of Gordon & Bonnie Hislop and sister-in-law of Isabelle Hislop. Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her extended family, friends and also by the staff and residents of Gilbert Hall in Wingham. Predeceased by her parents George & Louisa (Subject) Hislop, brothers Benjamin and George and sisters Shirley and Florence.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 14th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wroxeter Cemetery with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or Gilbert Hall, Wingham would be appreciated.
