At his home on Thursday, February 3^rd, 2022, John Nixon of Belgrave passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of Sheila (née France) Nixon. Loving dad of Calvin Nixon & Linda Knight of Waterloo, Glen & Karen Nixon of Conestogo Lake, Marjorie & Dan McBurney of Belgrave, Steven & Patti Nixon of Benmiller and Randy & Kim Nixon of Egmondville. Cherished grandpa of eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Carman & Wilma Nixon of London, Ralph & Corrie Nixon of Wingham, Wayne & Janet Nixon of Ripley and Delbert Nixon & Carol Ducharme of Exeter. Special brother-in-law of Greta & Ross Heinmiller of Kitchener and Barbara McDonald & Jack Bridge of Goderich. Predeceased by his parents Isaac & Della (née Ploughman) Nixon.

A private funeral service will take place at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday, February 6^th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. A link to view the service can be found at the top of the page. Interment will take place in the spring in Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Belgrave Community Centre or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
