Obituary of Tom Armstrong
At Braemar Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022, Tom Armstrong of Wingham passed away at the age of 90.
Beloved husband of the late Joan Armstrong who predeceased him in 2020. Cherished father of Marion & Roy Taylor of R.R.#2 Auburn, Marlene & Merv Baker of Wingham, Noreen Walker of Wingham, Terry & Sheila Armstrong of R.R.#1 Lucknow, and Jeff & Donna Armstrong of R.R. #4, Clinton. Loving grandpa of twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Stan & Barb Hiseler of Bracebridge. Predeceased by his parents Mark & Ellen (née Thompson) Armstrong, great-granddaughter Amanda Hardy, sisters Mary Taylor and her husband Jack and Donna Craig and her husband Mel and sister-in-law Eleanor Hiseler.
A graveside service and celebration of Tom’s life will be held in the spring. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Huron Hospice, Clinton would be appreciated.
