Obituary of Margaret Ross

Ross, Margaret Ina

At her home in Kincardine on Sunday, December 12th, 2021, the former Margaret Ina Lindaberry (Book), a 21 year resident of Trillium Court, passed away in her 102nd year.

Beloved wife of the late Bill Ross who predeceased her in 1996. Dear mother of Sheila & Fred Lewis of Tiverton, Shirley & Cam McArthur of Wasaga Beach, Donna Cameron and her partner Roger Weichert of Barrie, Marilyn & Christopher Hartley of Nassau, Bahamas, Bill & Karen Ross and Dianne Ross of Wingham and Hugh Ross & his partner John Kelly of Ardoch. Cherished grandma of eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, December 16th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend either the visitation or the funeral service must show proof of vaccination (ages 12+) and photo ID. Interment will take place at South Kinloss Cemetery in Lucknow. 

If desired, kindly make memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or your favourite charity in lieu of flowers. 

Thanks to all the staff at Trillium Court where Mom has made her home for the last twenty-one years. Special thanks to Marjorie Perkins (Director of LTC) and her wonderful staff who have been a second family to Mom over the last six years. Your commitment to providing Mom with the best care possible and the love and care you have shown towards Mom each and every day has been appreciated so very, very much. Thank you!
