Obituary of Bob Sangster

At Wingham & District Hospital on Monday, November 08, 2021, Robert Sangster of Belgrave, passed away at the age of 89.

Beloved husband of the late Sharon (Shropshall). Cherished father and father-in-law of Jennifer Sangster of London, England, Bob & Bev Sangster of Point Clark and the late Len Sangster (2018) & Tracy Sangster of Wingham. Loving grandpa of Mike Dykeman, Janaka Fernando, Jeremy Fernando, Brett & Tanya Sangster, Becky Bloemberg & Tim Currie, Andrea Sangster, Carly Sangster, Jenna & AJ Hall, and Katie Sangster. Treasured great-grandpa of Dylan, Emma, Ethan, Ewen, Elleah, Nate and Sophia. Predeceased by his parents John & Edith Sangster, brothers Harvey & Jean Sangster, Ken & Florence Sangster, sister-in-law Jean & Harold King and brother-in-law Fred & Ruth Shropshall.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, November 10^th, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend do not need to register, but must wear a mask and respect physical distancing. A private funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 11^th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Although the service is private, please click here to view the live-stream. Interment will take place at McIntosh Cemetery, Carrick Township. A Celebration of Bob's life will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 11th at Becky's Home, 653 Martha St., Wingham. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Wingham Minor Hockey would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
