Obituary of Shirley Hart

With her family by her side at Rotary Hospice in Stratford on Friday, October 22, 2021, Shirley Hart of Wroxeter, passed away peacefully at the age of 88.

For Shirley, her family was her greatest love and her number one priority, she has left her family with a strong foundation and endless memories. She was the cherished wife of the late Lyle Hart who predeceased her in 2010. Loving mom of Patti & Bob Bradshaw of Wroxeter, Susan & Jim Collison of Kitchener and Diane & Dale Drumm of Smiths Falls. Treasured grandma of Kelly & Jeff Payne, Peter & Cynthia Collison, Nathan & Erin Drumm, Trevor & Carolyn Drumm, Kayla & Jeff Fleming and Alicia & Dean Edwards. Special great-grandma of Katie, Matt and Anna Payne, Madeline and Ben Collison, Lauren and Ian Drumm, Greyson Drumm, Noah and Jack Fleming, and Cora and Olivia Edwards. Shirley was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her thirteenth great-grandchild. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Helen Newton, many nieces and nephews and also by her friends and neighbours who will miss seeing her on her beloved front porch in Wroxeter. Awaiting her in Heaven for well-deserved reunion are her parents Reg & Retta (McArthur) Newton, brothers Jack, Bill (Marni) and Tom Newton, sisters Betty Bradshaw (Harvey) and Nancy Hayton (Lee), parents-in-law William & Evelyn (Hislop) Hart. and brother-in-law Bill Hart (Shirley).

A private family graveside service will be held at Wroxeter Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Rotary Hospice, Stratford would be appreciated.
