To Noreen's Family,
She was a very special lady. Her and Carmen were friends of my parents and we lived just down the street from us. I loved seeing them tending to the garden in the summers, and had many a chat with them in the yard on my way home from school. They were like the grandparents I didn't really have while growing up.
I remember when I was 5 and they went to Australia and were kind enough to bring some things back for us. I was so excited to hear of their travels while visiting the country and to this day I have loved Australia and everything it has to offer because of the stories that they told us of their trip. I always said if I ever travelled anywhere in the world, Australia would be it.
So Thank you Carmen and Noreen for open the door to me of cool places to travel to and for always breaking out the light bright for me to play with when we came to visit. Also for calling my Mom when you found the small cold stray cat in the window well, in the dead of Winter. We had her until my my mother passed away in 2008, and then I had her until her passing in 2009.
It was a pleasure to know you and Carmen while growing up. Thank you for your kind words and interest in my projects. And for helping to shape me in to the person I have become. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Sincerely,
Linda H

My deepest sympathy on a loss of a cousin Noreen. My fond memories of her are growing up across the road on the second concession, family picnics, playing cards, suppers and visits which will sure be missed. R.I.P. Noreen

Condolences to Noreens family. I remember going to see Noreen and Mervin at David and Janes when at grandpa Caslicks. Lots of great memories. Noreen gave me a stamp book when I started collecting, quite a while ago. She was a lovely lady.
