Obituary of Kim Wright

At Huron Hospice on Monday, July 19, 2021, Kim (Detzler) Wright of Belmore, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 67.

Beloved wife of the late Owen "Oates" Wright who predeceased her in 2012. Loving mom of Colan & Jamie Wright of St. Thomas, Candice Wright of Belmore, Kyle Wright and Kris & Amy Wright all of R.R. # 2, Wingham. Cherished nana of Austin, Kayleen, Graysen, Kaden and Hudson. Dear sister of Joy Ann Detzler of Gibson, BC, and Tom Detzler of Mildmay. Sister-in-law of Conny Detzler of Walkerton, Faye & Walter Demerling of R.R. # 3, Mildmay, Glenna Francis of Maple Ridge, BC, Murray & Dorothy Wright of Cardiff, Howie & Judy Wright of London, and Shelley & Ross Weber of R.R. # 3, Mildmay. Kim will be lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Tom & Alice (Schweitzer) Detzler, parents-in-law Harvey & Marie Wright, brother Hugh Detzler, sister-in-law Karen Detzler and brother-in-law Harold Francis.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday, July 22^nd, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 pm. Those wishing to attend must RSVP online via our website. (Scroll down to view available time slots)

A private funeral service will be held at the family farm on Friday, July 23^rd, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Final resting place, McIntosh Cemetery.
