Dear Ev, Janet and family;
Please accept our very deepest sympathy. ray and I were saddened when we heard about the loss of Jim. I was remembering all the fun times we used to have in Centralia. The many snowmobile trips to the Pineridge, to the hills around the area, through the bushes to Lucan, an evening or Saturday or Sunday afternoon trail ride; the campfires and sing songs; the gatherings for stories and fun; the building of the pool; the laughter shared. The good days with lots of memories to hold on to and no thought of what was ahead for each of us. I know that words can not bring back a person but it can often help some to know that others are sharing in your loss. Jim was a special person. He will be missed greatly by many, many people. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless.

I was so glad I had the chance to know Jim and spend time in your home in Centralia many long years ago. Jim was a special person who will be sorely missed.

Ev and family: so sorry to hear of Jim's passing: a big bear of a man with a heart of gold, and as honest and genuine as a summer day is long. You and he (and Dave and Judy) were so kind to me during my time in London and thereafter, and I remember fondly the many happy times we spent together. So many years of marriage and so many grandchildren (and great grandchildren) is an amazing legacy that the two of you should be (and surely are) so proud of. We are still in shock over the passing of Uncle Jim. Our hearts are broken and although they say time heals all wounds this hole in our hearts will never heal. Jim was a not only an Uncle, but a best friend to Bill and always there to give advice when needed. We will cherish our times together and are thankful for all the memories that will guide us through these dark days of grief. We are blessed to have had Uncle Jim in our lives and know he is at peace knowing that his family and friends will take care of his amazing wife Ev. Rest in peace Uncle Jim until we meet again. It was 1986 at Labbatt,s in Waterloo when I ran into Jim we were both loading and when he found out who I was and where I was from we had a great chat about the Lucknow area and people he had worked with here.I always enjoyed his friendly conversations when we would see each other at the Labatts plants he was a fine gentleman and our sympathy goes to all the Gaunt and Ross family.
