So sorry to hear of Archie's passing. He certainly will be missed. He was the best driving instructor around. Kind, caring, professional, had nerves of steel, and probably so glad to also have a brake on his side of the car. Certainly a pleasure to work with, even if we had no idea what we were doing out there. Sorry for your loss.

I'm truly sorry to hear this. Condolences to the whole family.
I grew up on Doonybrook Line. My most, most favourite memory was going outside, and hearing Archie playing the bagpipes from across the fields. I would sit outside listening each time for the whole. Thank you Archie for helping create a splendid childhood filled with wonderful music.

I am so sorry to hear of Archie's passing. He was always so kind, and a pleasure to talk to. He was a brave man to be teaching drivers training - including a group of 16 year old girls that were pretty clueless to start with (one who ran 3 stop signs in one day - and it wasn't me!). Why he let us back in the car after that, well I guess that's just how much he cared about others. So many more great memories of living close by. He will be missed.
Thinking of you guys, warmest hugs from Muskoka.

Our Condolences to Mildred and family.
We got to know Archie and Mildred when we moved to Teeswater and continued our square dancing activity with the Huron-Bruce Swingers. A wonderful couple. Archie's and Mildred's wonderful, welcoming smiles was always there. And then to find Archie so musical was a bonus. We enjoy the bagpipes and to find him playing for square dances at Robbie Burns night and in many parades was a bonus. RIP Archie - you will be remembered.

To all of Archies family I offer my sincere condolences in his passing. I feel so sad I wont be seeing his happy face if we ever get to go back to volunteer at Goderich Place.
I remember how happy I was to see them move in and tried to make them feel at home. Archie was so good at coming down to all the entertainment we had and in the summer when we were allowed back for outside Archie proved to be a person to beat in the games we played.
He was always game to try anything and all the volunteers loved him for that.
Rest in peace Archie you have certainly had a full life and earned your rest! Until we meet again Connie

I have many quiet wonderful memories of Archie. The times we would connect at Family Square Dance events, such as camping at Point Farms, and other picnics. I especially loved when he would peak in to see what we had cooked at the end of our 4-H meetings, just in case a taste tester was needed. His smile was priceles!
