Obituary of Clara Ortlieb

At Gilbert Hall on Saturday, March 28, 2020, Clara Ortlieb of Wingham, passed away at the age of 95.

Beloved wife of the late Bernard Ortlieb (1985). Cherished mother of Larry & Kathleen Ortlieb of St. Jacob's, Linda & Dennis Wharton of London, Annette & Ken Marks of Belgrave, Betty & Jeff Thornton of LaSalle, Betty Ortlieb of Bluevale, Debbie & Jim Wickens and Brenda Inglis & DeWayne Golley all of Wingham, Helen Whytock & Tom Burke of Elora, Rob Ortlieb of Wingham and Cathy & Rob Steffler of Wellesley. Clara will be lovingly remembered by twenty-six grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, one sister, and six sisters-in-law. Predeceased by her daughter Evelyn Tanner (2012), son Bruce Ortlieb (2019), three brothers and three sisters.

A memorial mass will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Wingham on Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to attend the memorial mass can join us for a live-stream of the service in the church hall . Please RSVP via the website. Interment took place at Wingham Cemtery.
