Obituary of George Allan Dickson
At Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Saturday, March 21st, 2020, George Dickson of Belmore passed away at the age of 95.
Son of the late James and Annabel (nee Darling) Dickson. Dear brother of Jean Field of Clifford and Alice Mawhinney of Carrick Township and brother-in-law of Deanne Dickson of Howick Township. George will be lovingly remembered his nieces and nephews, Allan (Connie) Dickson, Karen (Paul) Moffatt, Twyla (Ken) Gilbert, Mary (Doug) Leitch, Joan (Kerry) Reibeling, Evelyn Dickson, Paul (Chris) Dickson, Gwen (Larry) Liesemer, Brenda (Jeff) Cameron, Linda (Bill) Miller, Donald Douglas, Heather (Paul) Huston, Vaughan Field, Judy Lyons, Jeff (Sheila) Dickson, Nancy (Dave) Dickson, Jane (Paul) Tolton, Scott (Lesley) Dickson, David (Karen) Mawhinney, Jim (Doreen) Mawhinney, Marlene Mawhinney and Murray (Jane) Mawhinney, his dear friend Doris Hays and many extended family members. Predeceased by brothers Kenneth Dickson (Mildred), John Dickson (Florence) and Ralph Dickson, sister Stella Douglas (John) and brothers-in-law Ivan Mawhinney and Russell Field.
In light of current events, there will be no public visitation or funeral at this time. A private funeral will take place on Wednesday, March 25th, 2020 at McBurney Funeral Home. Interment will take place at McIntosh Cemetery, Carrick Township.
