Sad to hear of Marie's passing. My Condolences to her family at this time. I always tried to leave for home early so that I could get to the bakery before they closed on Friday nights when I came home from school. They had the best brownies and donuts around. I think it was because they were made with love instead of sugar. I know how much I missed the bakery when I came home and found that it was a now kids clothing shop. That being said I will always remember her kindness, her laughter and jokes. Ironic thing is I first discovered her wonderful brownies while at a funeral for a relative at the local funeral parlor, and after that I was addicted to them. She may not be with us anymore, however her spirit and her sweet treats, kind heart and her warm smile will always fill us with memories and joy. Thanks Marie.

I first met Marie when I joined the Kregar family as a young teen. Chad and I would often be sent to the bakery to buy pizza crust and of course the best donuts in the land! Marie was always warm and kind and open to any and all conversation. She certainly passed that onto her children. From Chad and I - we are so very sorry to hear of her passing and wish you all the love and prayers. Hold onto those memories. I’m sure her and Joyce are playing catch up. ❤️

As a kid, I wasn’t much for chores, but I always volunteered to ride my bike to the bakery on Saturday mornings to buy loaves of bread. My parents probably thought I was doing a good deed, but secretly it was because Mrs. MacIntyre would always give me a free chocolate chip cookie. Great memories of a wonderful lady.
