Obituary of Shirley Sallows

At Huron Residential Hospice on Saturday, December 14, 2019, surrounded by the love of her family, Shirley Sallows of Wingham, at the age of 83.

Loving and devoted mom of Stephen (Cathy) Sallows, Terry (Terri Dally) Sallows, Rick (Bonnie) Sallows, Roseanne (Gerald) Skinn, Lisa (Terry) Birmingham and the late Robert Brent Sallows who predeceased her in 1963. Cherished grandma of eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Keith & Margaret Finnigan and Lynn & Noreen Finnigan. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved dog Finnigan. Predeceased by her parents John & Nora Finnigan, her former husband Donald Sallows and her loving companion Harold Ashton (“Shorty”).

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Saturday, December 21^st from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at Wingham Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Huron Residential Hospice or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
