Obituary of Elmer Bruce

At Braemar Nursing Home on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 Elmer Bruce of Wingham, at the age of 86.

Cherished brother of Norma & Des Gurnett of Ottawa, Arnold Bruce of Belgrave and Reta Ross of Bluevale. Loving uncle of Doug & Nancy Gurnett of Windsor, Brenda & Don Waterfield of Ottawa, Sandra & George Sorrenti of Ottawa, Eric & Deborah Ross of Brussels and Cameron Ross & Darcy Cooke of Listowel. Elmer will be lovingly remembered by many extended family members. Predeceased by his parents Athol & Grace (Scott) Bruce, brother Douglas Bruce, sister Lillian Campbell and her husband Lorne, infant sisters Myrna and Muriel, sister-in-law Ora Bruce and brother-in-law Rae Breckenridge.

Visitation will take place at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Monday, September 30th from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Charmila Ireland officiating. Interment will take place in Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave.

Memorial donations to the Wingham Curling Club would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
