Obituary of Shirley Skelton

At Wingham & District Hospital on Saturday, April 06, 2019, Mrs. Shirley Skelton of Wingham (Gilbert Hall), in her 91st year.

Beloved wife of the late Norman Skelton who predeceased her in 2008. Shirley was the only child of the late Wilfred & Gladys (nee Robinson) Mason and is survived by her daughter Sharon (Jim) Philpott of Tillsonburg, sons Alan (Helen) Skelton of Wingham and Mark (Jenny) Skelton of Sutton, granddaughters Lisa Koivu (Derek Rhodes), Gail (Todd) McCracken, Cara (Mike) Bester and Madison (Scott) Plourde, eight great-grandchildren, her brother-in-law Raymond Skelton and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. followed by a private family service. Reverend Richard Hall officiating. Interment will take place in Brussels Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Wingham United Church, Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or Gilbert Hall, Wingham would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
