Obituary of Pauline Kennedy

Surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Owen Sound Hospital, Pauline Kennedy formerly of Wingham at the age of 79.

Beloved wife of the late John Kennedy who predeceased her in 2017. Loving mother of Joanne Weiss & Stephen Whipp of Orillia, Magdalena Kennedy of Goderich, Paula Kennedy & Shawn Gregory of Walkerton, and Kathy & Jeff Kieffer of Walkerton. Special grandma of Allan Schneider, Cindy Schneider & Luke Henrys, Crystal Weiss, Kaitlin Weiss & Dan Zylstra, Kailey & Ben Diebel, Karissa Kennedy, Jocelyn Meyer & Bryce Reid, Devin Meyer & Amanda Mechenton and Ryan Gibbons. Step-grandma of Shelby Kieffer.  Great-grandma of Emma Weiss and Morgan Zylstra. Cherished mother-in-law of Carl Schneider and Tammy Pletch. Pauline will be missed by her sister Marian & David Kipe of North Carolina, U.S.A. and sister-in-law Ruth Schwass of Port Elgin. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred & Effie Schwass, daughter Georgette Schneider, son Pat Kennedy, brother Don Schwass and sister Marlene Schwass.

A Celebration of Pauline’s life will be held on Saturday, January 26th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Wingham with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating.

Memorial donations to South Bruce Grey Health Centre or a charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
