It’s no stretch to say that John’s taking a chance on the shy, nervous teen I was in 1996 made my career as a teacher possible. I would never have had the courage to stand at the front of a classroom if he hadn’t pushed me to be proactive in interacting with customers, and making their experiences at the store positive ones.

I worked with John at Stewart’s Town and Country Market in Mildmay and enjoyed working with him. We had a lot of laughs and played a lot of jokes on each other.
