Obituary of Neil Olson

At Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, July 20, 2018, Neil Olson of R.R.# 5, Wingham, at the age of 71.

Husband of the late Ruth Olson who predeceased him in 2017. Dear father of Joanne Olson & Brian Heard of Kitchener, Jeff Olson & Mickey Howes of Belgrave and Mark & Nicole Olson of Wingham. Special grandpa of Jordan Heard, Lyla Olson and Claira Olson. Brother of Arnold Olson of Edmonton, Wayne & Gail Olson of Edmonton and Patricia & David Woodworth of Calling Lake. Brother-in-law of Jim & Sheryl Coultes of Edmonton, Ken & Linda Coultes of Elmira, Doug Coultes of Ripley and Doris Coultes of Milverton. Predeceased by his parents Fred & Olive Olson, sister Nola Ferster and her husband Donald, parents-in-law Norman & Mary Coultes and brother-in-law Grant Coultes.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, July 27th at Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave at 1:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Neil’s Life at the Belgrave Community Centre from 2:00-5:00 pm.

Memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
