I have only heard the sad news of Elaines passing today and am sending my very sincerest condolences to the entire Hiusser family. I have so many wonderful memories of our years working together at the Walkerton hospital and will cherish these fondly forever. Elaine was such a hard worker and a devoted mother,, she will be dearly missed by many. I am so happy to have shared a small part of her life, many hearty laughs and countless conversations......I will miss her.
Rest in Peace dear friend.......till we meet again.

As Amy's friend I had heard of Elaine plenty over the last 15 years but it was only in May this year I finally managed to come across to Canada and meet her.
Despite the battle she was having with her illness at that time I still remember receiving the warmest welcome into her home and being told it was lovely to meet me as she'd heard so much about me over the years. What might have felt like a slightly intrusive visit into a strangers home immediately changed into a feeling of home coming, that these people knew me despite the fact I'd only had an online friendship with Amy until that point.
I will always feel blessed that I had a chance to meet Elaine and yet very sorry that I won't have that chance again.
I'd like to give my best wishes to everyone in her family and pass on my condolences2 for her loss.
