Obituary of Isabel Ellen Bannerman

At Caressant Care, Harriston, on Sunday, May 13, 2012, Isabel Bannerman of Wingham, age 94 years. The former Isabel Hart, beloved wife of the late Alvin Bannerman who predeceased her in 1985. Dear mother of Irene Bannerman of Hamilton, Ilene and Michael Coutts of Wingham, Muriel and Elmer McFarlane of R.R. # 1, Wingham, Thelma and Eric Finkbeiner of Exeter, John and Jeanne Bannerman of Caldeon East and Maurice and Nancy Bannerman of Clifford. Also survived by fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Sister of Mary Hanjaryck of Garland, Manitoba. Predeceased by her parents William and Carrie (Cain) Hart, her sisters Alice Dobson, Evelyn Shadbolt and Lila Krieger and by brothers Maurice, Norman, Bill, Art and Bob Hart. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 pm. Majors Archie & Marie Simmonds officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
