Obituary of Laurine Katherine Wright

At Wingham & District Hospital, on Friday, April 19, 2013, Laurine Wright of R.R. # 1, Clifford, age 96 years. The former Laurine Dahms, beloved wife of the late Gordon Wright who predeceased her in 1972. Dear mother of Graham and Janice Wright of R.R. # 1, Clifford, Winona Thompson of R.R. # 5, Wingham, John and Shirley Wright of R.R. # 3, Wingham, Sandra and Greg Buchanan of Wingham, June and John Paynter of Kitchener, Janette McClean and Wayne Douglas of Wingham and Rod and Susan Wright of R.R. # 1, Clifford. Lovingly remembered by nineteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Helene Haskins of Mildmay, Luella McKee of Walkerton, and Rhoda Hughes of Waterloo. Predeceased by her parents Louis and Emilie (Hohnstein) Dahms, brothers Edgar, Wellington, Otto, Harvey, Eldon and Ronald, and by her sons-in-law Rob McClean and Sydney Thompson. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Monday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at McIntosh United Church, Carrick Township on Tuesday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Ralph R.J. Schmidt officiating. Interment in McIntosh Cemetery, Carrick Township.
