At Huronlea, Brussels, on Friday, May 24, 2013, Mrs. Margaret Smith, formerly of Wingham, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Reverend Thomas Smith (2008). Loving mother of Emily and Ernie Phillips of R.R.# 2 Blyth, Gwen McInnes of Brussels, and Peter and Lorie Smith of R.R.#2 Lakefield. Dear grandmother of Karen and Bill Glousher, Les and Heather Phillips, Tracey and Geoff Edgar-Stubgen, Kelly McInnes & Robyn, Jessica Smith, Ben Smith & Dana, Mitch Smith & Andrea and Hilary Smith. Great-grandmother of Bryce, Brett, Tyler, Elizabeth, Zack, Carson, Mia, and Grace. Sister of Jean Fraser of Salmon Arm, B.C. Predeceased by brothers Lincoln, Lindsay, and Thomas Black and sisters Edna Black, Reta Burns, Evelyn Seebach and Cora Riordan. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Eastern Star Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 6:45 pm. A celebration of her life will be held on her 100th Birthday at Wingham United Church on Tuesday May 28th, at 2:00 pm. Reverend Gary Clark officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Huronlea Resident's Council would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
