Obituary of Eileen McGlynn

Peacefully at Huronlea in Brussels, Eileen (Ernewein) McGlynn formerly of Wingham passed away on Monday, April 8^th, 2024 at the age of 87.

Devoted mom of Cathy & Steve Howson of Blyth, and Anne & Brad Bender of Wroxeter. Loving grandma of Meagan & Nick Cicchini of Point Edward, Holly Howson & Justin Burke, and Brenden Howson & Anika Kumhyr all of Blyth and Kelsey Wagler & Jacque Deslaunais of Listowel. Great-grandma of Reid and Grace Cicchini, Raelynn Magliocco and Paisley and Oakley Deslaunais-Wagler. Sister of Alf & Joan Ernewein, Bert Ernewein, Joe Ernewein, John Ernewein, Francis & Marilyn Ernewein and Mary & Dave Nash. Sister-in-law of Judy & Ray Fischer and Eleanor Curran.  Eileen will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her husband Thomas McGlynn, sons James and Tom McGlynn, sister Helen McGlynn, brother Harold Ernewein and many brothers and sisters-in-law. 

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Monday, April 15^th, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Wingham on Tuesday, April 16^th , 2024 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
