Obituary of Alice Nicholson

At Lanark Heights Long Term Care Facility, Kitchener on Wednesday, October 08, 2014, Mrs. Alice Nicholson of Kitchener, formerly of Belgrave, age 93 years. The former Alice Cook, beloved wife of the late W. Garner Nicholson who predeceased her in 2001. Dear mother of Ron and Lynda Nicholson, Margaret and Glyn Wide, Ray and Cindy Nicholson and Rob and Judy Nicholson. Grandmother of Sherri, Kim, Jennifer, Trevor, Victoria and Alexandra, and great-grandmother of Evan, Noah, Casper and Ayla. Sister of Zella Crawford and Edith and Jack Walker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Etta (Black) Cook, brothers Harvey and Albert Cook, and by her sister Margaret Robinson. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday, from 1:00-4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday at 1:00 pm. Elly Dow officiating. Interment in Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave, Ontario. Memorial donations to charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
