Obituary of Vincent Edward McInnes

At Kingsway Lodge, St.Mary's on Friday, October 17, 2014, Vincent McInnes of London, and formerly of Wingham, age 72 years. Beloved father of Tracey and Geoff Edgar-Stubgen of Thorndale and Kelly McInnes and Robyn Shanks of Toronto. Grandfather of Zachary, Carson, Mia and Grace Edgar-Stubgen and Orson McInnes. Brother of Bryan and Toni McInnes, Jennifer and Bart Smith, Jude Menard and Susan and Michael Glad. Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ted and Helen (Cooke) McInnes, his step-mother Irene (Evers) McInnes, son-in-law Jason Edgar, brothers Tim and Terry McInnes and sisters Sondra Merrick and Janis Train. Vincent was a former member of the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Wingham, a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 180, Wingham, and a long serving member of the Huron Perth Roman Catholic School Board. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Tuesday, from 7:00-9:00 pm. Parish Vigil Service at 6:45 pm. Royal Canadian Legion Service at 8:45 pm. Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday at 1:00 pm. Father K.P. Morrison officiating. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 180 would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
