At Huronlea, Brussels on Sunday, March 16, 2014, Ruth Hastings of R.R. # 4, Wingham, age 87 years. The former Ruth Irwin, beloved wife of the late Bert Hastings who predeceased her in 1989. Dear mother of Murray Hastings and his fiancée Gwyn of R.R. # 4, Wingham. Sister of Doreen Finlay of Belmore, Orland and Myrtle Irwin of Lucknow, Juanita Hopper of Wingham and Louise and Ron Conley of Lamont, AB. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Viola (Jamieson) Irwin. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, from 12:00 until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 pm. Rev. Dr. Peter Kugba-Nyande officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.
