Dear Dorothy and family.
Our thoughts are with you at this trying time.Glen was such an inspiration to many!
You, and your kids and grandkids can stand proud knowing how Glen loved you all.
Last years have been tough on everybody.
I rememember Glen from OAC as I graduated in 1964, the last class to get their degree from U of T. OAC.
Glen was a strong man then and remained so.
Remember the good times!

Glenn was a fellow member of the Ontario Agricultural College "Class of 1965" - proudly the first graduating year to receive degrees from The University of Guelph (rather than U. of T.) It saddens all of us to learn of the passing of one of our number. Since our 45th anniversary of graduation we have renewed old acquaintances by holding an annual Class Reunion. This year it will be in Peterborough, June 26th and 27th. After dinner on the 27th, Glenn's name will be read out, along with a few others, some stories will no doubt be told, and we shall remember Glenn and think of Dorothy and his family and those whose lives he touched.

On behalf of the Beef Farmers of Ontario's membership, board and staff, our sincere condolences go out to Dorothy and family. Glenn served as president of the Ontario Cattlemen’s Association (now BFO) in 1991 at a time when Ontario’s beef industry was facing a declining feeding sector, packing plant closures and increasing public perception concerns. During Glenn’s year as president, he led the association through a check-off increase, lobbied with the Canadian Cattlemen's Association for a levy on imported beef, and sought solutions to strengthen the cow-calf sector. His legacy and dedication to improving Ontario’s beef industry will be forever remembered.
