Obituary of Marie Chittick

At Huronlea on Saturday, August 23, 2014, Mrs. Marie Chittick of Wingham age 95 years. The former Marie Sharpin, beloved wife of the late Charles Chittick who predeceased her in 1968. Dear mother of Marion and Jack Ross of Teeswater, Joan Armstrong and Earl Jacques of St. Thomas and Lynda and Steve Gow of Kitchener. Sister of Evelyn McLennan of Wingham and sister-in-law of Donna and Ray Eaton of Exeter. Lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Morrison and Rosia (Merkley) Sharpin, her son-in-law Don Armstrong (1982), and her sisters Jean (Hopper) Anderson and Vera Nicholson. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm., and on Wednesday from 1:00 pm. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Marilyn Robertson officiating. Royal Canadian Legion Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:45 pm. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.
