Obituary of Stewart Coupland

At his residence in, Waterloo on Tuesday, June 02, 2015, Mr. Stewart Coupland of Waterloo, and formerly of Wingham and Wroxeter, age 79 years. Loving husband of Joyce (Robinson) Coupland. Beloved father of Judy and Tracy Kennedy of Kitchener and Kevin and Carol Coupland of Belleville. Dearly loved by grandchildren Madison and Zachary Kennedy and Charlie, Henry and Isabel Coupland. Dear brother of Donna and Bob Black of London, Mary and John Edgar of Georgetown and Carol and Glenn Pyke of R.R. #2, Wroxeter. Son-in-law of Margaret Robinson and brother-in-law of Jim and Barbara Robinson, Tom and Aantje Robinson and Bill and Maxine Robinson. Predeceased by his parents Harvey and Mildred (Cathers) Coupland and father-in-law Charlie Robinson. Stewart and Joyce were married at Calvin Brick Church, East Wawanosh Township, on August 31, 1957. He was a career banker with the Toronto Dominion Bank, beginning in 1955 and serving until his retirement, August 31st, 1991. Stewart was branch manager in several locations, ultimately retiring from the Wingham Branch. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday, 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 1:30 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.
