Obituary of Grace Schmidt

At Lisaard House, Cambridge on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, Grace Schmidt of Waterloo, age 50 years. Cherished daughter of Vera (Zettler) and the late Raymond Schmidt. Beloved sister of Rosemary and Barry Smith of Oakville, David and Lynn Schmidt of Guelph, Pauline and Bruno Jantz of London, Leonard and Sam Schmidt of Wingham, Clair and Angie Schmidt of Wroxeter, Kevin and Jennifer Schmidt of Wingham, Ronald Schmidt and Daisy Wong of Brussels, Joseph Schmidt of Kitchener, Tim Schmidt and Virginia Schenk of Wingham and Denise Schmidt and Greg Deyell of Fergus. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Joanne Kempling, infant brother Peter and brother-in-law Rik Kempling. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday from 2:00-4:00-7:00-9:00 pm. Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Friday at 11:00 am. Father K.P. Morrison officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Lisaard House, Cambridge or Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
