Obituary of Maxine Taylor

At Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich on Friday, August 22, 2014, Maxine Taylor of Goderich and formerly of Wingham, age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Harold Taylor who predeceased her in 1998. Cherished sister of Eugene and Marian McGee of Sheppardton and Dolores Hoy of Goderich. Sister-in-law of Doris Walker of Wingham and Donald and Marlene Taylor of St.Helen's. Lovingly remembered by her several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Beatrice (Chisholm) McGee, her brothers Cecil, Harold and Joseph McGee, her sister Helen Hill. Maxine managed the Eaton's Store and catalogue office in Wingham for over thirty years until her retirement on August 5th, 1976. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Monday from 12:00-2:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday at 2:00 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Wingham United Church or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
