Cherished mother of Linda and Grant Rumble of Lucknow, Rick Swanson and fiancée Koreen Moss of Clinton, Susan Swanson and fiancé Garry McCabe of Calgary, Ken Swanson and fiancée Candy Willis of Durham and William Dowson. Sister of Betty Unick of St. Thomas, Donna Neill of St.Thomas, Bill Bowlby of Cambridge, Orma May of St.Thomas, Margaret Daughtery of London and Lois Jones of St.Thomas. Grandmother of Tanya and Stan Beckner, Jeffrey Rumble and Hillary, Angela and Scott Beer, Emily and Matt Czernikiewicz, Raymond Niessen, Mark Niessen, Corey Swanson and Cassie, Ryan Swanson and Alicia, Jenessa Swanson and Jakob, and Gavin, Megan and Tyson Willis. Great-grandmother of Chris, Tammy, Josh, Jordan, Kailey, Austin, Nicholas, Jessica, Alexander, Kimberly, Dylan, Sarah, and Maddy. Predeceased by her parents William and Marie Bowlby, son John in infancy, daughter Marjorie Irwin, brothers David Bowlby in infancy and Lonnie Bowlby and sisters Helen Potts, Dorothy Garneau and Beatrice Jolly. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 1:00 pm. Reverend Gerald McFarlene officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario.
