Obituary of Kurt David Stamper

Tragically on Sunday, January 19th, 2025, Kurt David Stamper of Bluevale passed away at the age of 3.

Beloved son of Brendan & Marly (Terpstra) Stamper. Special brother of Alex and Richard. Dearly loved grandson of Karen Reid, Len Stamper, Morgan Murray & Andre Hendriksen, Ron & Marie Terpstra and great-grandson of Evelyn Stamper, Jim & Janneke Murray and Hennie Terpstra. Cherished nephew of Tori & Nate Thompson and Loren Gabel. Kurt will be missed by his great-aunts and uncles and their families and also by Betty and the Major family.

Waiting with open arms are his uncles David and Brady Stamper, grandpa Ray Major, great-grandparents Vernon & Janet Reid, Wendell Stamper, and Ben Terpstra.

Kurt was a bright light in all of our lives, always so full of joy and energy. His infectious belly laugh and radiant smile could brighten even the darkest day, spreading happiness to everyone around him. Kurt loved nothing more than spending time outdoors, playing with his brothers, tractors and trains. He was a little helper in the barn with daddy and a sweet companion in the kitchen, where he loved baking with his mommy. Thoughtful and kindhearted, Kurt had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. One of his favourite things was swinging high on the swings, always shouting “higher, higher!" Now, our sweet angel, reach for the stars and fly high. You will forever hold a place in our hearts and we will love and miss you always.

A private funeral service for family and friends will be held.

Flowers are gratefully declined. A GoFundMe has been set up for the Stamper family to allow them to focus on healing and moving forward. Click here to donate.
