Obituary of Walter Ulmont Moore

At Wingham & District Hospital on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, Walter Moore of Wingham, formerly of Lucknow and Whitechurch, age 76 years. Beloved husband of the late Alice Moore. Dear father of Linda and Richard Partington of British Columbia, Richard and Janice Moore of Nunavut and Cindy Clark of Wingham. Grandfather of Robert, Christina, Danielle, Ryley, Trevor and Maria and great-grandfather of Chase. Dear brother of Joe Moore and Agnes Hetsler both of Wroxeter, Joyce and Bob Broom of Milverton, Shirley Hamilton of London and Pauline and Ken Pennington of Cargill. Also survived by his sisters-in-law Shirley Moore and Joyce Moore. Predeceased by his sister Alice Kalish, brothers Frank, Charles and Tommy, sister-in-law Frances Moore and brothers-in-law Steve Hamilton and Willis Kalish. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham, Ontario on Saturday, 2:00-4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday at 1:00 pm. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
