I'm so sorry for your loss... Words can't not say enough of how amazing of a woman Mirjam was.
I'm sorry i was not able to be there for her final moments and i am going to miss her everyday.

I met Mirjam at St. Andrew's Presbyterian church in Wingham and we always had a visit when she was at church. I will miss her but have happy memories of the times we had together.

Beste Chris en kinderen van Mirjam, gecondoleerd met het overlijden van deze fantastische vrouw. Lang geleden dat ik haar heb ontmoet, maar ze staat in mijn geheugen gegrift. In de tijd dat ik bij Tragel werkte heb ik veel steun gehad aan Mirjam, rechterhand en engelbewaarder. Een periode die ook voor Mirjam niet altijd gemakkelijk is geweest, maar waar ze zich goed doorheen heeft weten te slaan. Fantastische vrouw, geen blad voor de mond nemend, open en eerlijk, met een grote empathie voor de mensen voor wie we werkten. Ik begrijp dat jullie in Canada wonen, ook dat is nieuw voor me. Ik wens jullie allen heel veel sterkte in deze dagen en voor de toekomst, nu jullie zonder haar verder moeten. Ik hoop dat jullie in de onwerkelijke wereld waarin we vandaag leven op een mooie wijze afscheid kunnen nemen van Mirjam.

Dear Chris, Stephanie and Paul and partners,
In the short time I knew Mirjam she made an impression. I suppose I got to know her the most through singing in the church choir. We were preparing for Carolfest, an annual Christmas celebration. Mirjam was friendly, but she also spoke her mind. On practice nights we bantered back and forth. She was unselfish: even though she needed a chair to sit on, she did not want to cause a scene or have people think she deserved special treatment. She surely loved to sing! I trust that she made peace with her God. May God extend that peace to you in this sad time.

I echo Larry's thoughts and would like to add a couple of my own. Mirjam's smile lit a room. The twinkle in her eyes brought joy to myself and others. Her humour, calm spirit and spunk will be missed. I feel blessed to have had her in my life, even though our time was brief. Nancy

We look back on a hugely valuable friendship with Mirjam.
A sweet warm woman with catchy humor. She had a great heart for people but especially for animals.
We were always welcome at your home in Hulst. A lot of strength with this enormous loss.
Hopefully, despite the bizarre situation in the world, we will be able to make a dignified farewell.
